I started David Hoffrichter's "The Wizard's Implements" per the direction of H³ and will show off a photo of that once I've made about 10 hours of progress. Besides the stitching, the artists, and the people, I got to spend a week vegging on the beach, eating fish and chips on the sand, and drinking wonderful coffee. I got to meet Lesli, who I've had a blog friendship with for over half a decade and only just met her last week. Michele and Bob Sayetta were also there, of course, which was a treat. Randal Spangler, Jeff Haynie, Hannah Lynn, Aimee Stewart, and Rob Carlos. Other than that I got to meet some really awesome artists. Coming back I drove through Portland and took I-5 South so it was only 11 hours. I was hoping for great ocean views and got nothing but fog all the way from Eureka north. I drove from the Bay Area all the way to Seaside, OR up 101, which took just about 15.5 hours.

I noticed that there was a cross stitching app, so thought I’d download it and give it a go. It’s from the World of Cross Stitching magazine and it’s a separate app that you download for free and can then purchase electronic magazines.

You get a trial version for free so I was able to test it out.Įach edition after the free one costs £2.99, and you manage them in the app. #Goodreader app finding symbols cross stitch for free# The retail price for the print version is £3.99 so there is a slight saving on the electronic version, although you obviously don’t get the free gift that you would get with the print magazine. Apart from that, I think the magazine content is exactly the same in print and electronic version. However, it being electronic there are some extra things which I think makes it an excellent alternative to the print magazine. Firstly throughout the magazine it uses hyperlinks, so for example from the contents page you can jump straight to the pattern you are interested in. #Goodreader app finding symbols cross stitch archive#Īll the website links are also hyperlinks so you can go directly to a manufacturer’s website for example (it opens it in Safari, iPad’s internet browser).#Goodreader app finding symbols cross stitch how to#.
